LO4 Production of Products

LO4 Legal and Ethical Issues ASA

ASA- To comply with the Advertising Standards Association (ASA), I will have to be sure that my advertisements are not misleading to the audience. This is because it follows many of the conventions of 1950's/ Rockabilly culture that is easily recognisable and fits with the theme of my event, thus not being misleading to the audience. My advertisement does not promote alcohol consumption in the event although it may be consumed on site.

LO3 Audience feedback

From presenting i gained feedback from Nick Bax (from Human) I gained the following Feedback:

At first he wasn't sure about the Target audience age range, but after explaining the event and what would be happening, he agreed that the Target Audience that I had chosen worked well for my vintage event.

Another piece of feedback I gained was that he could see my event being held in Sheffield in somewhere like Kelham Island (which is one of the vintage events that I go to).

Overall, I think that my presentation went quite well, even though I was panicking quite badly, but the feedback I gained from Nick was positive.

Self Assessment

What went well:

Even Better if:
I need to come up with the logo and design the poster for advertising.

LO2 Tote Bag Design

For the tote bag i just wanted to show the logo (so it is the focal point of the bag) and I wanted to be able to sell something at the event that was useful not only at the event, but outside the event, which would be good for advertisement of the event for the next year.

Front of tote bag:

Back of tote bag:

LO2 Badge Designs

The badges will have the four logo configurations on them as it will give variance of the badges and they will have a similar appearance to a wider range of the audience, thus creating more diversity for the audience. Another reason I chose to have multiple designs for the badges is so the audience can collect them all, thus improving profit for the event.

LO2 Poster Designs

LO2 Logo Designs

The logo design I will be using and creating in a more professional way will be design 3. This is because it looks the most like a logo and fits with the genre of the event well. From this I Used different colours to show different audience members and for more diversity and to get a final idea of the logos appearance.

Different colour configurations below.

LO2 House Style

Because my event is based on a Vintage theme (mainly the 1950's) I will use the following Colours:

I chose these colours because they are the most often associated with the time period that the event is based from.

The figures/ art style used in my promotional will be based on advertisements of the time and it will also be based on Pin Up art that was popular in the time and are still popular today.
